NELSON CHAMISA FACES REBELLION FROM SITTING MDC T Members of Parliament for imposing a whopping $1 000 non-refundable application fee for them to contest in the next elections while newcomers pay just $100.
The MPs also accuse Mr Chamisa of reneging on an earlier pledge not to subject them to primary elections in return for their support when he seized power following the death of party leader, Mr Morgan Tsvangirai, last month.
The MDC-T legislators view the punitive fee as a strategy by Chamisa to eliminate those opposed to him and accommodate youthful cronies with a background in student activism.
